Based on your requests, we added a basic search feature to our mobile website. The new mobile search allows you to search for listings by rent, bed, available date and location. The new search function will allow users to access their listings on the road easier.

It pays to be personal in the real estate industry. We always get asked by our clients how they can stand out and brand themselves, and if can provide them with their own custom templates. While we provide an affordable template design service, we felt it was too limiting. Now we have a new solution…
YGL is very proud to introduce an exciting new application – Template Builder. The Template Builder provides our users with an easy to use “What You See Is What You Get” interface to create their own unique ad templates. Users can now easily add their images, text and our pre-built widgets to create their very unique and personal ad templates. Users can access the Template Builder by clicking on the My Templates link from the Dashboard.
Currently the Template Builder is still in it’s BETA stage. We invite you to come and try it out, give us your valuable feedback. You’ll notice we added an easily accessible Discuss/Feedback feature to facilitate discussions and feedback.

As we have promised before, we are going to be increasing the number of templates drastically for the coming season, so we can keep your ads fresh. We will be creating new ones gradually from now till the beginning of next year. Our goal is to create a diverse range of templates at least doubling our current number of templates.
We just added a new template to the system. It has a cascading color effect, where the color gradually goes lighter. There are 4 colors, which are randomly assigned to the template.

On a side note. It pays to be personal in the real estate industry. We at YGL are working on a custom template creator tool to allow you to create your very own templates. Stay tuned. We’ll be releasing a beta version very soon.

1. Move the Delete link on the Listing Details page to prevent accidentally clicking deleting a listing.
2. Give User Management privilege access to other user’s leads and ad campaign stats.
3. Improved Ad Campaign Report speeed.
4. Improved Documents tab speed.

We have redesigned the reports in the system to have its own section called Reports Center. This redesign serves two purposes:
1. We want to aggregate information, so a user comes to the Reports Center easily sees what’s happening in their account, in the agency and even in the industry. We are in the process of creating different snapshots based on the reports covering different aspects of the system. These snapshots will give a user an overview of his/her account activity. A user can also go into each report to learn more details.
2. As the number of reports grow, we also needed to reduce clutter on the Dashboard.
Lastly, to help your agency get better and more complete data. We added a new section to the Reports Center to show how many listings in the database are missing public titles/descriptions and missing photos.
We also improved the speed hopefully making the report easier to get to.

Many of you wanted more control over who can add, update and delete data in your YGL database. Originally, YGL has only one privilege allowing add, update and deletion of listings and landlords. Admins cannot give user the privilege to just add and update, but no deletion.
To solve that problem, we split the Editor privilege into 3 minor privileges: Add, Update and Delete. This will allow an admin to further control user access rights. You can update a user privilege by going to the Agent Details page and click on the Update link.

Many users have expressed the need to share listings to more places, such as Twitter. We listened your feedback and after reviewing different sharing features, we added ShareThis button to the system, allowing you to email and share your listing and showing sheet to many different places. This should help you advertise your apartments.
You can share a listing or share a group of listings (by using showing sheet). Look for the Share link on the listing details page, the showing sheet page and the lead details page.

1. Personal website now can be used for the agency. See Agency Profile page for your agency web link.
2. In landlord details page. Contact field has been moved to the left column. Before, the contact field is displayed on the right, but updated on the left column, which was not very intuitive for the users.

3. Account Billing is now accessable for users with the User Management privilege.
4. Improved usability on the Post All feature. Added adjustable height (based on your screen size) and timer to the Post All feature. The timer will allow you to time your post easier. The flexible height allows people with bigger screens to see more information. And also added some minor display improvements.
5. Added feature to set listing updated in the search results table. You can now set a listing updated in the Need Updates Report and the Listings page.
6. Added “Days On Market” to the Available NOW listings. It shows how many days have passed since the listing’s available date.

We have added additional cities and neighborhoods to conform towards the MLS structure. This will give many of you more options and familiar selections.

Hi everyone, some users have asked us to update the Need Updates Report interface to make it easier to use. More specifically to add the ability to mark a listing updated and sort by landlord right in the report, so the editor does not need to go to different locations. So we listened to your suggestions and updated the report. The new Need Updates Report should be very familiar to you, since it is a replicate of the Listings page.
The new interface allows you to:
1. Set a listing updated by clicking on the L. Update column.
2. Sort the listings by the headers.
3. Hover over to see landlord contact information.
Lastly, this week, we are going to be adding some minor improvements based on previous user requests. Please be aware that there might be some minor interface changes. If you have any suggestions, feel free to send them to us.
